The Jackson Exchange Club wants to thank all of our corporate
sponsors for their contributions both monetarily as well as in kind.
The sponsors, volunteers, veterans, fire fighters, law enforcement
and first responders all came together to make the Flags of Freedom
project a tremendous success. Thanks Again.
The Jackson Exchange Club displayed 1500 3’x5’ American
Flags on the south lawn of the Union University campus. The flags
flew from Saturday, April 26, 2008 to Sunday May 4, 2008. With the Official
Dedication Ceremony on Friday, May 2, 2008* at
11:30am in the Fred DeLay gymnasium.
The
flags represent the number of children that have lost there lives due
to child abuse at the last statistics (2006). The flags also honor our
heroes; the service men and women that are currently serving or have
served our country as well as the first responders; EMS, police,
fire fighters and medical that keep us all safe! Flags can still be purchased here
online or from any Jackson Exchange Club member.
The flags are
dedicated in honor or memory of your hero or heroes.
The Jackson Exchange Club continues to raise awareness and funds
in the following areas: Child Abuse Prevention - Americanism - Youth
Projects - Community Service, this project will encompass all of
these areas. Thank you for your support. Any questions can be
